How to Link 3rd Party Domain(.com.np) in Blogger Blog?

Hello everyone! Tech Crush Nepal re-welcomes you in the blogging series after a short break. Today I’ll describe about adding (linking) 3rd party domain in blogger blog. Let’s start-->

First of all, please login to blogger dashboard. Then head to basic settings and you can see ‘Add 3rd party domain’ in publishing section. Click there and fill domain you want to link with your blog in input box and click save.


Yes! you’ll get an error. It means you should add some DNS records. If you are following me since beginning then you must know about DNS settings .

Now, visit your DNS hosting provider. We were using Cloudflare. Cloudflare supports DNS setting file. Therefore download DNS setting file from blogger. The download link is on that error message.

Then, Login to your Cloudflare Dashboard and head to DNS zone. Below your DNS records you will see advanced tab. Click there and click on upload DNS file. Upload your DNS setting file there.

If you want to change naked domain to www version , then add these A records too.

216.239.32.21

216.239.34.21

216.239.36.21

216.239.38.21

Finally You DNS setting will be like this:

Then, again go to blogger and enter your domain and click on save button. And this time it will be saved. In this way you can add 3rd party domain in your blogger blog.
