Hello everyone! Tech crush Nepal back again with a new article on blogging series. In this article we’ll have surface view over the blogger admin dashboard. Let’s start--→

Blogger dashboard consists of two panels. The left panel is menu bar and right panel shows the contents or settings that comes under the selected menu item. Left panel is small in width then right panel.

Here is a short description of menu items:

1. Blog List: Topmost item of menu bar is blog list. It sows the name of blog you are currently working on. You can toggle between different blogs by selecting blog name from drop-down submenu.

2. Posts: From post menu you can see the posts of your blog, create a new, edit post and delete posts. You can get stats of the individual post also. It consists of two sub categories; Published posts and Draft posts.

3. Stats: It shows the analytics of your blog. You can get stats on number of post views according to place, operating system, backlinks, and time.

4. Earnings: From earning section you can apply for google adsense and monetize your blog by placing ads.

5. Campaigns: It is to advertise your blog trough adwords. It cost money so it is rarely used.

6. Pages: Pages section consists of pages of your blog. You can create a page, edit and delete it from here.



7. Layout: In this section you can add widgets , change place for widgets, customize widgets in your blog. This is the most used section of the blogger admin dashboard.

8. Theme: In theme section you can change themes of your blog or customize it. You can choose themes among the provided one or upload custom theme. You can change the mobile version of your site. You can also edit the code of your blog.

9: Settings: From here you can change the settings of the blog. We’ll talk about in next post.

10: Reading List: It shows the feeds from blog you followed.
